Le Chemin de la Vierge

This via ferrata was closed by “Arrete Municipal” in 2018 due to potentially unstable rock.

We would like also to take the opportunity and recommend Mark Tennent as the guide for Via Ferrata. What distinguishes Mark is his warmth and “good aura”; he is very supportive and gives you a feeling of confidence what was especially important for the beginners like us (and me also with some height fear). We managed only simple routes (by the way, my father is 72 – so go ahead, guys!) but we hope to return and make more complicated the next time. Mark is ex-captain of the British army; well, if all British officers had been like Mark – the British Empire might still have existed :))

Yaffa, Jerusalem – Snowshoeing

We just came back from ski vacation in Val Thorens. We had a free day on Friday ( you can get your apartment only on Saturday). We found in the internet Mark Tennent from Simply Savoie, and he took us for snow shoeing walk. Everything was perfect, he met us on time, gave us the equipment, and took us to very beautiful place,’ with fantastic views over the mountains.

Terrific Job, Captain

Mark,

Terrific job, Captain. Everything was so well coordinated that the other trip participants and I could just “sit back” and enjoy the ride. And the scenery, and the great dinners. Thanks for your outstanding and cheerful leadership.

We want to thank you once more for giving us such a wonderful introduction into snow shoeing. Your thoughtfulness in selecting routes for beginners as well as your knowledge of the local environment enhanced our experience considerably. Your enthusiasm for the outdoor life and understanding of nature, trees. birds and plants?made our holiday all the more memorable.?We cannot forget the meal Pascal cooked at his Refuge, especially the special after lunch schnapps.

We enjoyed the conversation that ranged from the mountains?to current affairs, both local and international.? Your own career obviously assisted a great deal in this.? Please feel free to offer our e mail address or telephone no to other clients, wishing to know more about our superb experience.
