ANENA - Avalanche - Snow

Pr?sentation de l’ANENA

ANENA was created in 1971 following the catastrophic avalanches of the winter of 1969 – 1970. ANENA’s objective was to improve safety by reducing the risks related to the snow and avalanches. From 1976 it has been recognised as “d’utilite publique” and now has almost 750 members. It brings people and organisations interested by the problems that arise from avalanches, notably:

  • Professionals (ski resorts, mountain guides, mountain leaders, ski patrollers, mountain rescue, local politicians, research centres, government and equipment companies.

It provides a forum for discussion and the review of experience, ANENA brings together information in order to communicate it in the best way.
