My contract with you takes effect when I send you written booking confirmation. In parties of two or more people, the person who makes the booking by signing my booking form or otherwise contracting with me, accepts responsibility for making all payments to me for all members of the party.
What is included (unless otherwise stated)
- Transport, by car or minibus, during the holiday or course.
- Guiding by qualified International Mountain Leader (Accompagnateur en Montagne) or Climbing Instructor (Moniteur d’Escalade).
What is NOT included
- Personal clothing e.g. waterproofs, fleeces, rucsacs
- Mechanical uplift (gondola, chairlifts, etc) unless specifically stated in the holiday description.
- Board and accommodation not detailed in the tour description.
Payment
Deposit
When booking you need to pay a deposit of at least 10% per person (or a minimum of EURO 50 ). I send a booking confirmation with no reminder.
Bookings made 30 days or less before the holiday start date must include full payment.
Balance Payment
Payment of the balance is due 30 days before the holiday starts.
If this payment is not received I reserve the right to treat your booking as a cancellation and to levy cancellation charges accordingly.
Prices
I reserve the right to raise or lower my prices at any time before you book. If at the time of booking the holiday / course price has changed from that shown in any leaflet or brochure or website you will be told the revised price applicable to your booking before you commit yourself.
Minimum Numbers
Some tours require minimum numbers in order for them to run. Where this is the case you will be notified on the booking confirmation.
Cancellation by You
If you need to cancel please inform me immediately by telephone or SMS. To be effective this cancellation MUST be confirmed by email. If received, cancellation charges based upon the following scale will be paid by the client. You are advised to take out appropriate travel insurance.

Cancellation or Modification by Savoie Adventure Ltd.
Our best endeavours will be made to ensure that advertised tours actually run. I reserve the right to cancel or modify the content of courses due to prevailing circumstances or conditions. In the event of cancellation a full refund will be offered OR alternative course dates OR an alternative course. I regret that my liability does not extend beyond this.
Health, Fitness & Age
Mountain walking, climbing, via ferrata and adventure holidays and its associated activities require appropriate fitness levels. I must be notified of any illness or impairment when booking and reserve the right to ask a client to leave the holiday or activity if their continued participation jeopardises the safety or enjoyment of other course members or in my opinion jeopardises their own safety or well being. Clients under the age of 18 years can only attend if they are accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.
Insurance
Clients are encouraged to take out appropriate holiday insurance that includes where necessary rescue and repatriation insurance. I am covered by professional liability insurance.
Losses or Damage
Any loaned equipment that is lost or damaged will be chargeable to the client at the current replacement cost at our sole discretion.
Law
The contract arising from any confirmed booking is made on the terms of these booking conditions unless otherwise agreed in writing. This contract is made under English law and the sole jurisdiction of the court in Chichester, West Sussex, UK.
